For the last 15 years, I have been instructing expressive writing for release and recovery in various formats. I’ve learned a lot along the way about the ways our bodies and minds hold onto trauma, and the methods we can use to safely tap into those memories in order to release them and begin the recovery process. Here I will write about my experiences in the classroom and out, offer prompts and techniques, and more.

I teach on a six-week schedule year-round, so you will also receive my course offerings and life updates. But mostly, this publication is about you: what you do with your trauma, why, and how we can name and reframe what you might be holding inside you.
